Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking architectural practice based in Nottingham, recognised for delivering technically challenging and high-quality projects across industrial, commercial, and large-scale technical sectors. With a strong reputation for combining design excellence with practical, buildable solutions, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Technologist to join a collaborative and ambitious team, contributing to significant projects while supporting the continued growth and success of the practice.

Our client is looking to expand their Nottingham office by bringing on an experienced Senior Technologist. They are seeking a motivated, technically skilled professional with a proven track record of delivering projects from design development through to construction. The ideal candidate will combine precise technical expertise with effective coordination, problem-solving, and client liaison skills, producing practical, innovative, and sustainable architectural solutions.

What are we looking for?

  • Experienced Architectural Technologist / Senior Architectural Technician with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in a UK architectural practice
  • Proven ability to lead the technical delivery of projects across industrial, commercial, or large-scale technical sectors
  • Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD, with strong design, detailing, and documentation skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge, including UK Building Regulations, planning processes, construction detailing, and BIM workflows
  • Ability to translate design intent into practical, buildable solutions while maintaining quality, sustainability, and client requirements
  • Strong communicator with excellent coordination and client liaison skills, able to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively
  • Comfortable working from the office 5 days per week, within a 40-minute commute of Nottingham
