As part of continued growth, our client is looking to strengthen their Geotechnical team with the appointment of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join their newly launched, state-of-the-art Manchester office, becoming an influential member of a growing team.

You’ll be involved in projects of varying size and geotechnical complexity — from concept design through to construction — supporting major schemes across the UK.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in UK-based geotechnical consultancy
  • Deep knowledge and passion for ground engineering and geoenvironmental analysis
  • Experience preparing ground models, remediation plans, and complex design outputs
  • Strong understanding of UK standards and policy, including CDM regulations, DMRB, BS5930, EC7
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GEO5, and related geotechnical software
  • Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Earth Sciences
  • Chartered or actively working towards chartership (ICE or GeolSoc preferred)
