Purpose of Role:
Assist clients and provide an expert consultative approach in finding the best people to staff their business. Responsible for attracting people to apply and guiding them through the application and onboarding process.
Responsibilities:
• Identifying and developing client/business relationships
• Advising on and selling the most appropriate solution for attracting candidates and maintaining a candidate database
• Assessing and responding to the needs of each client or assignment
• Sourcing suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunities offered by the client
• Managing the process through the interview to offer stage and beyond
• Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidate
• Offering CV, interview and general career advice
• Networking to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities
• Create and implement recruiting strategies
• Create and post job advertisements
• Search for potential candidates using hiring databases and social media
• Assess applications and resumes
• Screen applicants before the interviewing process
• Match applicants to job positions
Essential Skills:
• Minimum 3+ years recruitment experience
• 1+ years’ experience recruiting within the engineering, construction and/or architecture industries
• Previous Sales and Customer Service experience
• Excellent organisation/prioritisation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to influence and negotiate with others
• Commercial awareness
• The ability to think creatively and strategically
• Self-motivation and motivated by targets
• PC literate and able to use MS Office Applications
• Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and sourcing techniques
• Able to constructively take and follow instructions and feedback

• Experience using applicant tracking and recruitment marketing software
