Our client is an established and highly respected architectural practice in Surrey, looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Director, Partner, Associate Director or senior architectural professional as part of a strategically important leadership appointment.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious senior Architect who wants to move beyond project delivery and play a significant role in the commercial, operational and strategic growth of a practice.
The successful individual will combine strong architectural and project leadership with commercial acumen, business development, client relationships and people management, with a genuine longer-term pathway towards Partnership.
What are we looking for?
- ARB Registered Architect with substantial UK architectural practice experience
- Proven track record at Senior Associate, Associate Director, Director or Partner level
- Significant experience leading complex architectural projects
- Strong commercial and financial management skills
- Proven business development and work-winning experience
- Established client and professional network
- Experience managing, mentoring and developing architectural teams
- Strong understanding of recruitment, resource planning and people management
- Knowledge of HR, employment law and health & safety responsibilities
- Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and commercially minded approach
- Strong design and technical understanding
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Healthcare and/or Life Sciences experience would be highly desirable
- Candidates with predominantly residential experience are unlikely to be suitable
