We are very pleased to be partnered with one of the UK’s most established engineering consultancies. They have extensive experience working across a range of disciplines and have built fantastic reputations within each of them.

The most recently established department for them is within Façade Access Consultancy, they have identified this a strong area for investment and so have a great budget for expanding this side of the business. With a team already in place, they are now looking for an experienced professional to step into a Head of Façade Access Consultancy position to lead the team into its next stage.

This will be an incredibly rewarding role and one that will come with a huge amount of development over the next few years. So, an individual who has great industry knowledge and can drive growth and strategy from the front will be ideal for this role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead, develop and deliver the groups strategy for the Façade Access Consultancy department
• Build on the current client base for the group through new business development and growing existing relationships
• Managing several projects simultaneously while delivering them to the companies standard
• Complete design reports and specifications for the new builds
• Meeting regularly and managing relationships with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
• Working closely with the design teams (across structural & façade) to ensure a high-quality outcome
• Carry out technical audits of façade access subcontractor tenders, drawings and calculations
• Working with and advising subcontractors on-site and conducting site audits
• Produce detailed technical reports
• Conduct witnessing for suspended access equipment testing in factories and site

What you’ll need for this role:

• Ideally 10 years of experience working within the façade access industry
• Ideally already Chartered or working towards Chartership
• Degree (or equivalent) within engineering or façade subject
• Strong leadership and management ability
• Excellent drafting and AutoCAD skills & report writing experience
