An award-winning engineering consultancy, having a superb reputation, have an exciting opportunity for a graduate or assistant level civil infrastructure engineer to join their team in South Wales on a permanent basis.
Our client has a commitment to excellence and innovation, providing comprehensive engineering solutions to clients across both the residential and commercial sectors.
This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge or a mid-level Assistant Engineer interested in joining a company with sights set on Chartership and gaining more experience.
Please note, you MUST have at least 1 years’ worth of experience working within highways/ drainage design. If you don’t meet this criteria, unfortunately we won’t be able to consider your application (but please keep an eye on our website for any other roles you may be interested in/ better suited to).

Key skills/ qualifications for this Senior Civil Engineer role:
• BEng/ BSc in civil engineering or equivalent
• Self-motivated, able to work on their own with minimal supervision
• Can demonstrate clear effective communication skills both within the offices and external bodies
• Understanding of CDM regulations and the duties of the designer
• AutoCAD and MicroDrainage experience

Responsibilities:
• Working as part of a wider engineering team, designing private and adoptable highways towards technical approval
• Design of foul and surface water drainage systems for public adoption
• Designing a variety of sustainable drainage solutions/ SUDS
