Job Description

Our client is an established and highly respected architectural practice with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects and providing a collaborative, supportive working environment. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate / Associate Director to play a key role in the continued development of the practice.

This is a strategic leadership appointment for an ambitious Architect who can combine strong project delivery and team leadership with commercial awareness, client management and business development. You will take responsibility for projects, people and client relationships, while also contributing to the wider growth and direction of the practice.

Importantly, this role offers a genuine longer-term pathway towards Partnership for the right individual.

What are we looking for?

  • ARB Registered Architect with a recognised UK architectural qualification
  • Significant post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice
  • Strong track record of leading projects from concept through to completion
  • Excellent project, programme, budget and resource management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness, including experience with fees, invoicing and project financial performance
  • Experience managing, mentoring and developing architectural teams
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Experience contributing to business development, bids, tenders or winning work
  • Proactive, commercially aware and collaborative approach
  • Strong design and technical understanding
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Healthcare and/or Life Sciences experience would be highly desirable
  • Candidates with predominantly residential experience are unlikely to be suitable
