Job Description

We’re recruiting an Architectural Technologist to join a leading, employee-owned architectural practice in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, working on varied and meaningful projects.

About the Role

You’ll support the delivery of high-quality technical design work across multiple sectors, working closely with architects, designers and external consultants. This role offers strong development potential and exposure to new construction techniques, BIM processes and project coordination.

  • Producing accurate technical drawings, details and production information
  • Supporting project delivery across RIBA stages
  • Assisting with coordination of internal teams and external consultants
  • Contributing to material selection, specifications and detailed design solutions
  • Helping resolve technical challenges with a flexible, solutions-led approach
  • Engaging with Revit and BIM workflows
  • Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive studio culture

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist
  • Strong construction and building technology knowledge
  • Ability to produce accurate technical information and resolve technical challenges
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Willingness to fully engage with Revit and BIM processes
  • Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and developing professionally
  • Confident in coordinating consultants or internal teams
  • Ideally, working knowledge of Revit, BIM and NBS, plus understanding of specifications and compliance
