Job Description

Our client is an award winning, International multi disciplined practice with a strong presence in Birmingham, recognised for delivering high-quality, technically robust projects across sectors including residential, commercial, education, and mixed-use developments. Known for combining design quality with practical, buildable solutions, this is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a collaborative and ambitious studio environment.

With a growing pipeline of work, our client is looking to expand their Birmingham office by appointing an Architectural Technologist to support the technical delivery of projects from design development through to construction. The successful candidate will be technically capable, detail-focused, and confident working within multi-disciplinary project teams, contributing to well-coordinated and compliant design solutions.

What are we looking for?

· Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician with relevant UK practice experience
· Proven experience delivering projects through technical design and construction stages
· Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD experience also beneficial)
· Solid technical knowledge, including UK Building Regulations, planning processes, construction detailing, and BIM workflows
· Experience preparing technical drawings, specifications, and coordinated construction information
· Ability to translate design intent into practical, buildable, and compliant solutions
· Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience liaising with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
· Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple workstreams and deadlines
· Comfortable working from the office in Birmingham as part of a collaborative studio team
