We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, multidisciplinary planning, architecture, and landscape design practice based in the heart of Cornwall. With a strong portfolio of diverse and award-winning projects, they are now seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join their talented and collaborative team.

About the Role

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will take a leading role in the delivery of high-quality landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIAs), alongside the development of innovative and context-sensitive design solutions. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation of LVIAs, feasibility studies, and landscape assessments for a wide variety of developments.
• Contribute creatively to the design and delivery of landscape proposals, masterplans, and planning applications.
• Work collaboratively with planners, architects, and other team members across disciplines.
• Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, presenting design proposals and advice.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Help to shape best practices and promote sustainability in design.

What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in landscape architecture, including demonstrable expertise in LVIAs.
• A degree in Landscape Architecture and CMLI (Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute) status or working towards chartership.
• Strong knowledge of relevant UK planning policies and environmental standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to lead meetings and present work to clients and consultees.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp; GIS experience is a bonus).
• A creative, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for thoughtful, impactful landscape design.
