Our client is looking to speak with experienced Architectural Technologists or Surveyors who are interested in working for an award-winning architectural practice, based in Oxford.
They are a smaller but quickly growing practice that specialise working on projects within the education, conservation, defence, healthcare, and commercial sectors, so everyone does a bit of everything.
Key Surveying Responsibilities:
– Building Surveys and Condition Surveys
– Feasibility Studies
– Contract Management
– Dilapidations
– Report writing
– Preparation of agendas, minutes for meetings
– Reviewing subconsultants packages of work
Key Architectural Technologist Responsibilities:
– Keen eye for detail and a good understanding of building pathology
– Highly proficient in AutoCAD and at least able to complete standard drawing packages and schedules in Revit
– Must be willing to travel to sites up to 3h from Oxford if required as they service contracts across Birmingham, the Midlands and across all the South East of England, albeit that most contracts are in or within an hour of Oxford
– Driving licence non-essential but preferred
– MCIAT preferred, or at least working towards
– Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office – outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint
– Other software packages which are beneficial but not essential: Adobe Photoshop, Google Sketchup, Lumion, Rhino 3D, Autodesk Forma
