Role Overview:
As an Associate Director Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of talented engineers. You will be responsible for overseeing complex projects across a wide-range of sectors both based in the UK and in the Middle East. Data Centre experience is highly beneficial. You will be ensuring the highest standards of structural integrity, and delivering innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers
• Develop and implement innovative structural solutions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the engineering team
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Ideally, you will already be Chartered, or approaching Chartership (ICE, IStructE)
• A number of years’ experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in leadership roles
• Ideal experience is within data centres, however will look at experienced structural engineers from all building structures backgrounds
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A visionary mindset with a passion for innovation and sustainability
